I started training with Carrie 2 year ago. I was amazed by her during the consultation. On one side, it’s her professionalism and knowledge, but on the other, it’s her genuine desire to help people train and feel good about themselves. This got me straight away. I’ve always been skinny, but this was a result of restrictions and diets. Carrie taught me the importance of eating various food and enjoying it rather than feeling guilty. Carrie has over ten years of experience, making her like an open book about training and nutrition. This makes her extraordinary in telling you what’s truth or a complete lie in the social world out there. She taught me to embrace my body and be grateful even for the parts I dislike. Above all, she made me stronger—both physically and mentally!

Since working with Carrie, I have learned to appreciate the importance of taking care of my own health as a father of 4, planning ahead and adding structure to my days. This has been through using NuBodyMind app that we both have access to which allows me to co-ordinate an online strategy for keeping healthy through monitoring the nutritional value of my food choices, general levels of physical activity, and progress with training and exercise. Her online coaching also includes verbal feedback with bi-weekly check ins on Zoom to celebrate my journey’s highs and support the lows, helping me stay consistent and disciplined. I managed to lose 14kg in total! 

Working with Carrie has been an enlightening experience that has allowed me to feel comfortable opening up and face my insecurities. Carrie listens extremely well and demonstrates empathy and understands people on an individual level. I highly recommend working with Carrie!

As time goes Carrie made me love to get stronger. As I’m a musical theatre student/performer, I now also train to increase my stamina for the full days of training & rehearsals. So now my motivation is not solely to lose weight. I realised how important it is for me to get physically strong to make sure I can be more independent and do things by myself. I’m so glad that I found Carrie when I did, coming out of lockdown I lost a lot of confidence in myself and she helped me gain it all back. Carrie listened to my concerns and we set out realistic goals for the 11 months of training we had together. I had best experience training with carrie she pushed me to my limit and showed me I could do a lot more then I thought, Carrie was really invest into my fitness journey and was always giving me advice on nutrition and showing me different techniques I could use if I was finding it hard to keep my form when exercising. I’ve been working with Carrie for a couple of months, and I can already see a dramatic change in the way I feel – more energetic, determined and optimistic about my progress. I have been training with Carrie since May 2021 and have seen significant changes not only in weight but also my physical appearance, energy levels and overall wellbeing. I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in early 2021 and with the help of Carrie and her guidance on meal plans, macro nutrients and strength training within 8 months, I am no longer diabetic.

I appreciate that instead of rushing through a set plan Carrie eased me into the training as well as diet plans at my pace. She also incorporated and researched healthier vegetarian options with me. I will continue my journey for an overall better health with Carrie and highly recommend her for anyone starting or restarting their journey to a healthier living.

Before working with Carrie, I used to view nutrition in a different light however over the past 10 months, my mindset has completely changed. Carrie has taught me how to fuel my body and to treat it properly.
